GUSC :: SKYDIVE COURSES

If your goal is to ultimately skydive/parachute on your own then there are two options available to you. If you'd prefer to do a tandem then please click here.

Static Line

This is the cheapest and most popular option. Upon exit of the plane your parchute will be automatically deployed and you will enjoy your ride back to earth lasting several minutes. Once a student has completed a minimum of 5 good static line jumps they may progress to freefall using ripcord gear.

AFF (Accelerated Free Fall)

This is the big one. The quickest route to becoming an intermediate skydiver. Unlike static line you'll experience freefall from your very first jump. When you begin the first level of progression, you'll exit the plane at around 12,000 feet accompanied by two qualified AFF instructors who will be there to ensure you stay stable and that you deploy your parachute at the correct altitude. Once you've opened, you'll fly to earth under a nice big canopy and be talked down by instructors on the ground ensuring you have nice soft landing.
