AFF – ACCELERATED FREEFALL

This is the most advanced instructional systemavailable and Skydive St Andrews is the only Scottish centre to offer it. After ground training you will jump from 12000ft with 2 instructors by your side. You are not attached to anyone but the instructors can correct and instruct you in freefall. As with RAPS you are talked down under canopy. There are 8 levels done with an instructor and then 8 consol jumps which are done solo. After this you are qualified as an intermediate skydiver.

AFF is the most expensive but usually the quickest way to becoming qualified. The total cost for all 8 levels is £1350 including all kit hire, training and video debriefing. However each summer there are a couple of trips abroad where people can do AFF at cheaper prices and walk away qualified in a matter of days.
